This one came together fast. I wanted the video to feel raw and cinematic without overcomplicating the setup so we shot almost everything on location and leaned into available light to keep it authentic and textured.

I shot everything on the Sony FX3 with just a few lenses, a c-stand, tripod, and a gimbal. No heavy rigs, no massive crew.

The vibe behind “Dope Boy” was inspired by early 2000’s music videos of people hanging around and letting the location speak for itself and be a character in the visual.
