Filmmaking comes first.

I’m Matt Salcedo, a filmmaker based in Houston and the founder of Sado Films. My passion is making films: taking an idea, building a scene, and seeing it come alive on screen.

I care about what a shot does. Where the camera sits. What the light reveals. How long a moment lasts. A scene takes shape through those decisions, from the first setup to the final cut.

I share that process on Instagram alongside my shorts. The setups, the performances, the work behind the finished image. I want people to see how a film happens.

My work spans personal shorts, music videos, and collaborations with brands including DJI, NANLITE, GODOX, HOLLYLAND, SAMSUNG, and Controlled Insanity.
